Ok, ok, I know- Am I kidding?
But stick with me here for a sec. In the end, what’s really going to change? The search merger between Yahoo! and Microsoft is exciting news; It’s a huge deal- between the two companies. And with this morning’s news that Yahoo! and Bing took in a combined 20.36% of the market share last month, I say: Didn’t we think it was more like 28% last week? I have to say, I don’t expect a revolution from this search partnership when it comes to the end user. By now, I’m sure you know: (more…)

What do you call it when everyone in the Internet industry blogs about the same thing?
Another wire on the Search Engine War front!

The online video impact has caused a lot of changes, and is one of the factors that influenced Microsoft in creating their own content delivery network, the ‘Edge Computing Network.’ (ECN) An article by Janko Roettgers on NewTeeVee.com says that Microsoft’s bandwidth has been growing from 30-100 percent annually, and a large portion of that growth is from online video. The amount of video data in relation to Microsoft’s total data delivery has grown from 10% in 2007 to an expected 55% in 2010.
