Nielsen Research released a report that proves that streaming online video is on the rise- and won’t let up! The report releases findings on year-over-year video streaming and online video viewing. Unique viewers are considered those who watched a full episode or video clip. The statistics are as follows:
Since a recent report released by Frank Magid Associates that cites online video has reached “critical mass,” the secret is out- Approximately 77% of consumers are watching online video clips. This created quite a buzz in the online marketing space, with video advertising seeing a dramatic rise throughout the last year.
